God Bless Afghanistan?

Haven't had much to say for a long time now, nothing special going on, but I've had this blank mind for days now...

Been thinking a lot, about the things that are going on... If you want my opinion, I'll say I don't agree with the war, what else can you say. I've never seen a war and those people that have seen a war, in my part of the world; are dead or mostly too old to give us a glimpse of what it is.

Everywhere on the net, I find these buttons saying -"God Bless America", almost every site has one, so I thought maybe I should say something in respect as well...

I do hope that if there is a god, he would not want to bless any part of the world. Because a responsible dad would teach you to learn from your own mistakes. If we truly are adults, I think we should learn to take care of the world and bless it ourselves. War is a part of our humanity, but we like to talk sweet of it every time it shows it's monstrous sides. Normally we don't talk all that well of it. It's almost like Christmas, we want to treat people better than we normally do and when it's over we tend to forget a lot of those good sides in us. We make ourselves holy and god worthy trough our small animal instincts whenever we are given a feeling of shame and humiliation.

-"Lets wave with our nations flag, so that we'll remember our forgotten love for this place" -maybe that's something to think about.

I once heard about the law of the Karma; "everything you do to others, will come back to you" -maybe that's something to think about.

Why do we want a god to bless the world? Is blessing the world such a shitty job, that we would never want to do it ourselves?... The Bible says that Man was made in the image of God, so why should we think that god doesn't believe in holy war, when man have always favoured war before any other solution after an attack... It is truly sad what happened 11 of September, personally I would say that this was not something that came as a surprise. I would also say that, if we threw the violent books like the Bible and the Koran on a fire; man would find other things to blame for their natural animal instincts.

In these times maybe United States should remember what they have done in the name of violence and greed before, they have now been treated with the same disrespect that United States have shown other countries earlier. I don't think this is the time to favour and put a flag up for any country. It's completely disgusting to hear someone put god as a reference to the man made choices, what does spirituality have to with animal instinct? Why should a god want to save us? What makes us unique when we compare ourselves with old violent traditions?... It seems people have a problem separating the negative parts of religion from the positive and understanding the negative parts of the animal instinct and viewing them apart from the positive. We live by old dusty rules, most of us.

I would sure like to see the positive side of Afghanistan on CNN sometime, seeing it in reflection of what United States do to it, but United States is the centre of the world, we see their flags and banners and smart men in suits saying; -"This is not really a war, we just kill the problem, so that we can raise our glasses"...
