Another TV series I bought on DVD recently is Carnivále, they say it's made by David Lynch. Some the actors starring in his films, are in it, but nobody knows if he made it, or was just helping out a little bit. I haven't started looking at it yet, as I want to finish Sopranos first, but it looks great, as I saw one episode on TV. I bet it will make me want to join a circus and travel as a gypsy; naturally that was always me anyway.
I'm getting an iPod, yes, engraved with a text saying: -"It's always smart to think with heart!" It's a black one that stores music, videos, pictures and games. Hating mobile cellphones as I do a little bit, I thought I might want to use an iPod thing, when I'm not around my computer, it's easier carrying around, than a cdplayer and a bunch on discs. So because of this, I've been trying out iTunes and so far I find it to be rather useful. It's a very good way to discover new music, when you are able to listen to previews of all the songs, it loads a lot faster than the previews on Amazon too. There's music you can't buy on CDs and it's very good for the musicians and the listener. I always try to download the single songs I want, for free, from an illegal mp3 download program, because it costs me nothing. I will also continue buying full CD albums, with the original cover, if I like the album enough for wanting to have the CD the way it's sold. But so far, I've bought an album and some songs trough iTunes, that I couldn't find elsewhere, illegal or legal.
So far I have bought from iTunes:
Buddha-Bar - Universal Sound Of Buddha-Bar (album)
Chill Out World - Queen From Far East (song)
Shambala - Distant Fantasy EP (album)
Book I'm reading right now: The Complete Maus by Art Spiegelman.
It's an animated book, about people that lived trough the Holocaust. It's not a funny book, it's a serious topic and a sad story, but it's good and well told trough animation drawings. It's great for those that want to read a true life story, but hate to read books and like comics more that audio-literature. I like to read books though, but came over this one and it seemed interesting; the Jews are illustrated as mice, the Russians as pigs and Americans as dogs. After this book, I would like to read Night by Elie Wiesel, as I saw a documentary interview, with Elie not too long ago.
If only I could get myself some good RED (Christmas soda sold in Norway) Christmas soda, they only have the orange one at the store, as the good RED ones sell faster obviously.
