Improvements & Small Tunes

Do you like Ninjas? I dont, but if you do then take a good look at the site calles Real Ultimate Power. The website owner were sued for his violent site. It's quite ridiculous as the owner is a ten year old boy. I wonder how he paid for that domain of his. There is something wrong with the world when you sue children for expressing violence... but we knew that there is something wrong with the world...

Where do Michael Jackson get his babies from?... space? I used to be a big fan of his music, now he seems to be about everything else.

I've said it before; Mortiis is brilliant! Smell Of Rain is one of my most favorite albums of those I own. Now they have released a new remixed version of this album.

This is an extract of what they are saying about Mortiis over at Windows Media: Usually dressed in an elf, troll, or goblin costume (sometimes complete with bat wings and skull codpiece), the mysterious Mortiis was an indispensable force in the genesis of Norway's epic Viking metal sound. As the original bassist of Norwegian black metal pioneers Emperor, Mortiis was credited with stimulating the group's interest in blending furiously chaotic black metal with haunting synthesizer melodies often based loosely on Norwegian folk, thus laying the groundwork for a sound that would dominate underground metal over the next decade. Though he is primarily known for dark, ambient atmospheric keyboard swells, the third Mortiis release is nothing short of synth pop with nods to classics of the genre. Lead track "Scar Trek/Parasite God" could have been on that fateful David Bowie techno attempt, and the majority of the rest wouldn't seem out of place alongside New Order's repertoire or even Pretty Hate Machine. Some fans will likely decry this new attitude as wimpy, however those with an open mind will find Smell of Rain to be a smart pop exercise that still manages to be emotive.

I discovered today that you can listen to clips of the Smell Of Rain album over at Windows Media, so I wanted to share that link. Monolith is my favorite song on it.

I'm not really a feminist, even though I can agree with many of it's views. I took the feminist quiz over at Girl Bomb today (I have no idea how I came to that website). It said I was an Old-Skool Feminist. How you could end up being anything at all, with such stupid answer options is beyond my comprehension. None of the answers were something I would pick if I had my choice. No matter what, I knew I would be an Old-Skool Feminist if I was to be a Feminist at all (and you probably think I am one).

Lately I've been fighting with gothic folks over at the Norwegian online dating site called Darkdate. They were going to put up a system that allowed the members to give points and throw out non-goths. Something like that. Ah, subcultured people can be so narrow minded! I hate that. Why cant we all just respect that we are different? Why do the clothes, the music and the beliefs matter?! I like to judge people for their personality, their way of treating people, because I like to be judged for those things myself. Being mean is not a good thing.
