Gifts For Me

An entry about Christmas gifts that I received this year. I have already written about most of those I gave. Me and my good friend called Gretzen dont give eatch other gifts. I will exchange gifts with this other girlfriend of mine when I see her. No matter what, I'll put up a list here.

This year I even got gifts from online people. I joined the Diaryland Secret Santa and the other Secret Santa that are not connected to Diaryland. It's a membership project that picks out a member and give their Amazon wishlist to another member. Then this one have to buy a thing to the other one from it's wishlist. Everyone in the membership gets a gift. There is another all around year Diaryland project like this one called Secret 4 You that lets it's members get and give gifts at other holidays. It's nice. The once I were a Secret Santa for were a girl named Caroline, I gave her a CD called Wrecking Ball by Emmylou Harris. I have acctually never heard of it. The other one were Joanna, I got her a book called In the Image Of God by David Brion Davis. Thought it seemed interesting.

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS:
Letters and cards - from friends I know online and from some I know outside the web. A letter or card is sometimes the best gift of all, I got many small and a few personal once. Special.

Two red velvet heart pillows - From my parents. I had seen these and told my mother I that I liked them. I have always liked the heart shape. Favorite symbol I guess.

A letter cutter with amber handle from France - From my brother and his girlfriend. I love amber.

Money - from my grandmother. She's gotten too old to shop for me and she likes to give money. I also got some money from my parents.

Creative Webcamera - From my parents. I will only use this for stationary pictures that I will take of my 80's toys and friends. I hate to see myself in a picture.

The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy: The Trilogy Of Four and Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams. - From Gard. I have wanted to read these books for a long time and I have heard great things about them. I belive I'm really going to like these.

Like Water For Chocolate by Laura Esquivel - I got this from the non-Diaryland Secret Santa named Gina. Someone told me once that I should read this book, now I will.

The Wicker Man and The Best Jazz Album In The World Ever - I got these from my Diaryland Secret Santa. It was Sleeping Bear. Someone told me that the Wicker Man movie were the scariest movie ever made, so I look forward to it. The jazz album is just great.
