My Farewell To Arms

I quit playing World Of Warcraft, it became such a burden, such a job. I have no words for how much I ended up detesting WOW. I know it sounds silly, it does. I played for fun, to relax, to get my mind off of things, but the game demand you, to sit on it every night for hours, chitchat and help people in game, just to get to join raids to win armor to improve your game character. It asks you to suck up to people and guild systems you don't even like, much less agree with. It's all about elite players and noobs and those that we kick out of guilds and those we dream about playing with. People use you in these games, they use and throw you away. They join guilds and leave for a better guild, as soon as they got what they wanted. It's very little, up to no solidarity, or real teamwork in these type of games, it's just some that lead and rule as they see fit for themselves. Raids takes hours of hard sweaty work, just in it self. Most of my good old WOW friends had left the game, I had no energy, or willpower to go on with the utter nonsense the game represented to me. I am not a person that are driven by competition and skill are less important to me, than fun. I cant take a game so seriously serious, but WOW mostly got players that think the game is a military unit; win, die, or beat it! When I left and beat it, it was like a burden had been taken off my shoulders, I had felt bad about not logging on for months, for not keeping up with the hard work. WOW is a bit like real life, in the end, it's every man for himself. I don't want to live my life in a game, that slaps you, like a good old pain you felt sometimes in real life. I got real life for that.

So without WOW I decided to get into another game. Oh yes people. Oh yes. I bought myself a Nintendo Lite DS, a red one of course. Why did I do that you might ask? What's with the little Nintendo you say? I'll tell you. It's Animal Crossing Wild World, that's what it is. It's not warcraft, it's wild world. The animals drink tea, they water flowers and they talk about feng shui and love! Yes it's all very good. I have wanted to try this childish cute looking game for ages, generally because it has so many tiny wonderful animal characters in it and they speak animalese and yes they wear clothes and they come in different colours. There's frogs, elephants, pigs, dogs, rabbits and even squid I think, but I haven't seen that one yet. There are so many funky animals in this game, I see now that there's also goats. These animals are for me like Jelly Belly candy, it's colourful, each one has it's own flavour and spunk. Yes I know I'm very kiddish.

This game is for children three years and up. If I ever felt grumpy cause of the big challenges for me in WOW, I felt it asked too much out of me, when I really just wanted to have some easy fun; Animal Crossing should be a right game for me. In this game I have my own char that I fish with, I catch bugs and find fossils and I decorate a small little house. I collect shells by the sea, I penpal the animals and I design my own fabric textures. All the things I always wanted to do in real life. I named my town Tutifrut, it's native fruit are cherries, but I found some coconuts on the beach and I'm now also growing coconut palm trees. I would like some other type of fruit trees though, so if you happen to play this game, let me know and I can give you my friend code, if you wanted to exchange things with me. I understand that there are a small population of adults, that play this innocent childrens game. I played World Of Warcraft, I killed over 1000 players in it, I went from there to a game for hippies and I don't miss the war at all! The thing I liked the most about WOW, as sad as you might think it is, was not the fighting, but the cooking, I did enjoy pvp a lot, but very often I enjoyed collecting herbs and create potions, more than everything else. Yes I'm rather strange I suppose, it has been said.

These very nice bags reminds me of Animal Crossing Wild World.

I have a frog in my town that looks just like the green bag.

I have eaten all the candy I ordered from Cybercandy and that's very bad, cause I loved some of it so much. So much that I had to go order more today, oh yes. I have a habit of wasting money to things I really just crave, to keep up with a lazy lifestyle, but that I don't really need. I really loved the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Jelly Belly with Root Beer and of course my old time favourite Pop Rocks. I was curious you know, how does real root beer taste like? I think I have eaten something, that tasted just like the Jelly Belly Root Beer candies, as a kid, but I don't remember it. I just remember the taste. I wonder maybe if it was the candy I ate someplace, because it couldn't be the beer itself. Anyway I ordered a can of A&W Root Beer just to see how it smells and tastes, so we'll see. I look forward to getting a sip of it.

Do you see something you like here?

I didn't really enjoy the Willy Wonka Nerds, they looked so good,
but they were boring inside, so unlike real nerds ;P
