So Hamas was elected, another terrorist group in charge, doesn't come as a surprise really. Latest thing I heard from them, was their statement about how everyone who published, pictures of the prophet, should be executed. People are indeed dumb enough, to pick criminals to lead, sometimes because the choices are rather limited, other times just because of the state we are at, as humanbeings. Will Hamas make the world more unstable, you might ask? I thought about it for two minutes and noticed that my gut told me, that it probably wont change much. Israel has it's terrorist leadership, United States has it's corrupt phony government, Iraq is a sad case and none so far of the newsfolks, can actually confirm whether Afghanistan, is now today better or worse. And most other countries, support either branches, carelessly and stupidly.
I thought it was funny to hear, Condoleezza Rice's comment about Hamas. The woman whom reminds me a bit of Margaret Thatcher (and not just because of the hair dew), a woman who some people will blindly, support just because she happens to be a female and in this case also a black one (to me there's no other obvious reasons, as to why someone would want to support her). She claimed that you can't have one leg in terror and the other one in politics. -But see Rice; you can, history have showed us that there have been many powerful systems, that have had both legs in terror, aswell as in politics. The government that this woman represent, runs terror across the borders and usually just call it politics. So her comment was funny and completely showing off just how ignorant, dull and blind they really are.
It's all a word game to them; if the violence comes out of their regime, it's good politics, working for justice and peace. If the violence comes out of somebody elses regime, one that doesn't sing their tune, then it's terror. It's all so futuristic and good and smart and well thought trough, it's not like they just copied the old ways and use them in a new package. Idiots!
So they printed a picture of the good old granddad Muhammad, probably knowing that his family would fly off the hinges. Our western world love to mock the eastern world, often we are also very correct about our criticism, but it goes the other way around aswell, they are also, often correct about the criticism of us. It would be interesting if we could criticise ourselves, just as much as we criticise our neighbours, because the things we say about them, are often the things they say about us. And people are sheeps, we don't dare to look further than our barn, we don't dare to take responsibility, for the crimes we support, trough our governments. I don't think situations like this, is about religion. I don't think religion is about religion. People are mad because they are people. People are violent, because they learn about it in their society, in their homes. We blame it on religion, because it cuts us apart and it's easier to pick a side then. In the end the different sides, are just the same and the only thing they fight for, is power, greed and the wish to be better, than somebody else.
I love blasphemy! It's bad, it's good. And it's suitable in media, if anything is suitable in media, it's blasphemy. Trow out, the useless entertainment, the conversations that praise and sweet talk, the ads, the trends, the trivial softness, the articles of nothing and give me some Blasphemy. Someone told me once, that if you want to shock the world, do it for a reason, do it with a meaning, there's way too much senseless sad shocking issues in the news, with no edge. I want voices that don't pamper anyone, I want it in a raw format, I want it because it has a point. Blasphemy hurts, because it often tells the truth. It tells the truth and shows the real nature of religion. The ones that will come forward with an attack, after the blasphemy, are the ones who proves this; Religion has a violent history, with no respect for human life, for human rights, for intellect. Use a book to think and not your mind, use old stupid men from decades ago, to decide what is right and what is wrong, in our world today. I respect spirituality, not religion.
And those idiot priest men on TV, that apologise for the Muhammad pictures, like they have the right, to apologise for somebody elses act. They are so spineless, that I have no words for their small characters. If it's your wrongdoing, then nobody other than yourself, can apologise for the act. If I was the one who was involved, I would feel offended, if someone apologised for somebody else. You can't take the voice from anyone, change what they did, or what they are about. If you try do do this, then you have no respect for an individual, that have a personal responsibility, to stand up for themselves and their own acts.
The fact that you have some Muslims now, who are angry about the pictures, it matters not. It can be discussed and it should for the love of people, it should be discussed. But I would personally not discuss this, with those who support, or engage in violent riots, their opinion matters much much less, than those who behave respectfully. There are a lot of things which I am angry about, that are published in the media, hell, some things makes me so mad! I have the right to an opinion, to express it, but I don't have the right, to be violent because of it. Marsh in the streets, trow up banners, yell and scream, but do it with manners, not with violence.
As long as we can manage to keep some news unmodified, uncensured, it should stay that way. The fight for modern ways and a fresh news source will just continue, it will not die, or be doctored (lets hope not). We are slowly moving, towards a more free world. And the old ways of Muhammad and Moses, does not belong to the future, this is just something people will realise eventually. If whatever spirituality people may have had, was not worth keeping, when the rules of the religions were gone, then there probably wasn't much spirituality to speak of, in the first place either. We live together here and we must grow up with that, sometimes we will be hurt, sometimes we will hurt, but to respect our differences is something else. If a picture hurts you, well then you are rather human I would say, but if you want to change the law, so that the pictures that you feel hurt by, are removed, then I would say that you are rather selfish and narrow minded, dangerous too. The world was not here to please, just one type of people.
Those Muslims or Christians, that believe the world, was not created to hurt them in their faith; they live in kindergarten in their adult years. The world hurts everyone, especially those who think it was created by their god, just for them.
Some people will claim, that it maybe wasn't worth posting those pictures, maybe it creates more violence, than what is good for a cause. But a voice and an opinion, is not violence. When the act is not aggressive, then an aggressive answer, should not be apologised either. If you ask me, I don't think any type of aggressive act in political issues, can ever be justified. I don't care about the reasons, or the causes. If I had the choice, personally, to leave my voice for the safety of people, I would do that, if it felt right in my gut. But if I choose to use my voice, I would stand for that and I would want to try, to communicate with those that I would hurt. And if you ask me, I do think the image of Muhammad in the paper, should have been published, if it had a cause. If the cause was to anger the conservative Muslims, or if it was another reason, I still think it was fit and in good order to post it. As long as it has a cause, there is also a reason, sadly we seem to lose the reason, when the act brews a violent riot.
The world is not violent because of pictures of Muhammad, or because some people think Moses was a moron; it's violent because we don't want to be friends, we don't respect each other, we don't have it in us, to do it. It's humanity that needs to grow and until then we will fight and kill each other, over our ridiculous sandbox heroes, that we defend with our very own soul, because that's just how soulless, people are with their religions.
Blasphemy will not change the world, but intellect will and if there is an intellectual reason, for a blasphemies expression, then this blasphemy will have a golden spot in our future.
